Homemade Baked Pita Chips

[ INGREDIENTS ]

Whole Wheat Pitas
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
Garlic Powder
Black Pepper
Dry Basil
Salt

 

 

 

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F or 200 C.
  2. In a small bowl, mix :
    4 Tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil;
    1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder;
    1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper;
    1 Teaspoon Dry Basil;.
  3. Cut :
    5 Whole Wheat Pitas into 8 Triangles;
  4. Place pita triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
  5. Brush one side with the olive oil mixture.
  6. Bake pita bread for 8 to 10 minutes, until slightly browned.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool.
  8. Season with :
    Salt;
    before serving.
