Mom's Cornbread

Mom's Cornbread

[ INGREDIENTS ]

All-Purpose Flour
Cornmeal
Baking Powder
Salt
Sugar
Almond Milk
Egg
Coconut Oil

 

 

 

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180 C.
  2. Lightly grease an 8 inch x 8 inch baking dish with :
    Coconut Oil;.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together :
    1 Cup All-Purpose Flour;
    1 Cup Cornmeal;
    1 Tablespoon Baking Powder;
    1 Teaspoons Salt;
    1/4 Cup Sugar;.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together :
    1 Cup Almond Milk;
    1 Large Egg;
    1/3 Cup Coconut Oil;.
  5. Pour the almond milk mixture into the cornmeal mixture and fold together until there are no dry spots.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake until the top is golden brown for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the cornbread from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Enjoy!
