- Preheat oven to 350 F or 180 C.
- Cream together :
 1 Cup Coconut Oil;
 1 Cup White Sugar;
 1 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed;
 until smooth.
- Beat in :
 2 Eggs; one at a time, then stir in :
 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract;. 
- Dissolve :
 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda; in :
 2 Teaspoons Hot Water;. 
- Add to batter along with :
 1/2 Teaspoon Salt; 
- Stir in :
 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour;
 2 Cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips;
 1 Cup Walnuts, Chopped;
 
- Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
- Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely
                browned.
