Toffee Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

[ INGREDIENTS ]

Butter
Brown Sugar
Eggs
Vanilla Extract
All-Purpose Flour
Baking Soda
Baking Powder
Salt
Old Fashioned Oatmeal
Toffee Bits
Milk Chocolate Chips

 

 

 

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

  1. Heat oven to 350 F or 180 C.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, beat :
    1 Cup Butter, Softened;
    1 and 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar;
    together until creamy.
  4. Add :
    2 Eggs;
    2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract;
    and beat again, scraping sides of bowl as needed, until combined. 
  5. Add :
    1 and 3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour;
    1 Teaspoon Baking Soda;
    1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder;
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt;
    stirring just to combine.
  6. Mix in :
    3 Cups Old Fashioned Oatmeal;
    1 and 1/2 Cups Toffee Bits;
    1 Cup Milk Chocolate Chips;. 1
  7. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, just until light golden brown around the edges.
  9. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

 

 

 

[ NOTE ]

1 Substitute dark chocolate chips, if desired.
