Lemon Ginger Jasmine Iced Tea

Lemon Ginger Jasmine Iced Tea

[ INGREDIENTS ]

Water
Fresh Ginger
Jasmine Green Tea
Lemon Zest
Maple Syrup
Lemon Juice

 

 

 

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

  1. Add :
    8 Cups Water;
    6 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger, Chopped;
    to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Once boiling, cover, reduce heat to medium, and allow to boil for 7 to 12 minutes. 1
  3. While your ginger tea brews, place :
    4 Jasmine Green Tea Bags;
    in a large glass jar or heat-proof pitcher along with :
    2 - 4 Teaspoon Lemon Zest;.
  4. When your ginger tea is done brewing, pour it over the jasmine tea and lemon zest.
  5. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
  6. Add :
    2 Tablespoon Maple Syrup;
    2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice;
    and stir to incorporate.
  7. Enjoy immediately strained and poured over ice ( it can also be enjoyed warm ).
  8. Keeps refrigerated for 3 days, or would be delicious frozen as a Popsicle's.

 

 

 

[ NOTE ]

1 7 minutes for a more mild ginger flavor or 12 minutes for a stronger brew - keeping in mind the flavor will continue to develop off the heat.
