Korean Street Toast

[ INGREDIENTS ]

Cabbage
Onion
Carrot
Green Onion
Eggs
Salt
Black Pepper
Butter
White Sandwich Breads
Sugar
American Cheese ( Optional )
Ketchup
Mayonnaise

 

 

 

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

  1. In a large mixing add :
    1 Ounce Cabbage, Thinly Sliced;
    1 Ounce Onion, Thinly Sliced;
    1 Ounce Carrot, Cut into Long Thin Strips;
    1 Green Onion, Chopped;
    2 Eggs;
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt;
    1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper;
    combine well.
  2. Spread :
    1 Teaspoon Butter;
    on both sides of :
    4 white sandwich bread;.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat; add :
    2 tablespoons butter;
    and let it melt.
  4. Pour egg mixture, trying to make it as a square shape.
  5. Cook until bottom is cooked, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Cut egg omelet into half, and flip over.
  7. Cook another 2 to 3 minutes or until fully cooked.
  8. When egg omelet is cooked, remove from skillet.
  9. Now, toast both sides of the buttered bread, about 2 minutes each sides, or until golden brown.
  10. Remove from skillet.
  11. On the warm, buttered and toasted bread, sprinkle about :
    1/2 teaspoon sugar;
    evenly.
  12. Place egg omelet and sprinkle :
    additional 1/2 teaspoon sugar;.
  13. Place :
    2 Sliced American Cheese ( Optional );
    and add :
    Ketchup, to Taste;
    Mayonnaise, to Taste;.
  14. Cover with another sliced of buttered and toasted bread.
  15. Repeat with rest of ingredients and enjoy!

 

 

 

[ NOTE ]

Korean toast is commonly made with white bread, but you can use any bread of your choice.

You can also add a hashbrown to your sandwich if you like. But the hashbrown is optional.
