Mouthwatering Vegan Sloppy Joe's

[ INGREDIENTS ]

Coconut Oil, for Frying
Scallions (Spring Onions)
Baby Chiles
Vegan Beef Crumbles or Cooked Lentils
Tomato Paste
Onion
Sweet Chili Sauce
Mustard
Chili Powder
Salt
Dark Brown Sugar
Ketchup
Fresh Tomatoes
Apple Cider Vinegar

 

 

 

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

  1. Heat :
    1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil;
    over medium heat
  2. Fry :
    2 Scallions, Chopped into 1/4 Inch Slices;
    until slightly browned
  3. Add :
    2 Baby Chiles, Finely Chopped;
    and continue to fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add :
    1 Bag ( 16 Ounce ) Vegan Beef Crumbles or 1 Cup Cooked Lentils; 1
    and fry until browned.
  5. Add :
    2 Teaspoon Tomato Paste;
    1 Onion, Very Finely Chopped;
    2 Tablespoon Sweet Chili Sauce;
    1 Tablespoon Mustard;
    1/4 Teaspoon Chili Powder;
    Salt, to Taste;
    2 Teaspoon Dark Brown Sugar;
    1 Tablespoon Ketchup;
    1 Cup Tomatoes, Finely Chopped;
    2 Teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar;
    2 Scallions, Chopped into 1/4 Inch Slices;
    and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from the heat and serve on a toasted bun.

 

 

 

[ NOTE ]

1 If using lentils, be sure to leave them in for a couple of minutes, and continue to follow the instructions.
