Healthy Trail Mix
4 - 5 cup / servings

 

[ INGREDIENTS ]

Raw Pecans
Raw Cashews
Raw Sunflower Seeds
Raw Pumpkin Seeds
Unsweetened, Unsulfured Cherries
Unsweetened, Unsulfured Raisins
82% Dark Chocolate
Salt
Cinnamon
Nutmeg

 

 

 

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

  1. Toast :
    3/4 Cup Raw Pecans;
    3/4 Cup Raw Cashews;
    in the oven for 10 minutes at 350 F or 180 C ( Optional ).
  2. Combine :
    Pecans;
    Cashews;
    1/2 Cup Raw Sunflower Seeds;
    1/2 Cup Raw Pumpkin Seeds;
    1/2 Cup Unsweetened, Unsulfured Cherries;
    1/2 Cup Unsweetened, Unsulfured Raisins;
    1/2 Cup 82% Dark Chocolate, Chopped;
    1/4 Teaspoon Salt;
    1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon;
    Pinch of Nutmeg;
    in a large bowl and mix well.
  3. Store in a ziploc bag or mason jar.
  4. Will keep for up to 1 month.

CUSTOMIZABLE VERSION

1 1/2 Cups Raw Nuts ( Almonds, Pecans, Cashews, Peanuts ETC... )
1 Cup Raw Seeds ( Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds ETC... )
1 Cup Unsweetened, Unsulfured Dried Fruit

 

FUN STUFF ( Amounts Vary )

1/2 Cup Chopped Dark Chocolate
1 Cup Popped Popcorn
1 Cup Pretzels
ETC...

 

SPICE

1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Pinch of Nutmeg ( Optional )
