Vegan Granola Bars

Vegan Granola Bars
1 ( 8 x 8 inch ) pan / servings

 

[ INGREDIENTS ]

Maple Syrup
Creamy Peanut Butter
Vanilla Extract
Salt
Granola
Chocolate Chips

 

 

 

[ INSTRUCTIONS ]

  1. Line an 8 inch x 8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Spread :
    Coconut Oil;
    along the bottom and sides of the pan and set aside.
  3. Place :
    3/4 Cup Maple Syrup;
    in a small saucepan.
  4. Heat over medium heat and bring the maple syrup to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, boil for one minute.
  6. Remove the boiled maple syrup from the heat,
  7. Add in :
    3/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter;
    1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract;
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt;
    into the maple syrup.
  8. Stir until smooth.
  9. Place :
    4 Cups Granola;
    in a large bowl, then pour maple syrup mixture over the top.
  10. Stir well, until all of the granola is well coated.
  11. Stir in :
    1 Cup Chocolate Chips;
  12. Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
  13. Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing and serving.
  14. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
  15. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
